Wheel Construction

Cast Aluminum Wheel is the most basic wheel construction and it is achieved by putting molten aluminum inside of a mold to form a wheel. It is the type of technology you see used in the majority of wheels in the industry, especially the affordable ones. Cast technology has been around for ages and when done properly it produces beautiful and true wheels. Cast technology uses either Gravity Casting or Low Pressure Casting (which uses pressure to move the molten aluminum into the molds).
Forged wheel construction is the purest way to create a wheel as it is done by placing one solid piece of billet aluminum between forging dies and pressing out the wheel under extreme pressure. The forging process allows for a wheel to be stronger in structure yet still be lightweight.
Multi-Piece Wheel utilizes two or three pieces assembled together to produce one wheel.
