Rim Protectors

The tire and rim protector is a feature on some tires that increases the strength of the tire at its widest point to help protect the wheel from damage when introduced to a curb, or road debris that may damage the tire in the vulnerable spot near the wheel edge. Some brand tires, such as Falken tires, features the tire/rim protection technology, on 90% of its passenger car, small truck and SUV lines of tires.
